Characteristics of the AMATEX guideposts

-Manufactured in solid pine wood from forests managed sustainably with PEFC stamp and monitored during the extraction and manufacturing process, at all times ensuring the chain of custody of the afore-mentioned forestry certification stamp.

-The wood is treated in a pressure-vacuum autoclave with hydrosoluble salts free of chrome and arsenic, class of use 4. -Particularly indicated for their installation on roads that circulate within Natural Protected Areas or those of special interest.  They integrate perfectly within the landscape, providing greater safety and nocturnal visibility to drivers, with the least possible environmental impact.

-They are manufactured with the same type of reflectors as conventional guideposts.  Level II reflectors.  (Characteristics).

Advantages over conventional PVC guideposts

-Greater resistance to the passage of time thanks to the autoclave treatment which confers greater resistance to rot and atmospheric agents over 15 years.

-Greater resistance to impact.  They do not break as a consequence of road maintenance work such as snow ploughs, curb weed-trimmers or the application of phytosanitary products.

-Savings in their installation as a prefabricated base of concrete is not required.  The installation of the AMATEX guidepost permits direct embedding of the guidepost in the ground, therefore allowing it to be easily knocked over in the event of an impact.

All these advantages represent a great saving in road conservation costs.
