The company Amatex SA was born in 1997 and since then has been dedicated to obtaining treated wood for exteriors and its subsequent transformation into an infinity of products.
Founded with the clear vocation to become market leader, amongst its advantages Amatex has a privileged location, a team of excellent professionals and the infinite potential that derives from their extensive experience.
Amatex is located in the heart of the Soria Pine Forest Region, the cradle and origin of the famous Soria Pine (Pinus sylvestris). Here, the characteristics of the soil, the cold mountain climate and the favourable actions of man have favoured the gradual development of enormous amounts of specimens of excellent natural quality, which is in turn strengthened by our treatment.
Amatex has 30.000m2, within which 4.000m2 of warehouses are currently located, thanks to a continuous expansion process through large investments in fixed assets.
It has the most cutting edge machinery in wood mechanization, with the following:
- A Hundeguer K-2 for mechanization of structures.
- Two Weinig moulders for wood-planing and latest generation hardwood.
- A Weinig notcher-optimizer
- A complete production line for Oswald posts
- A complete production line for Wema-Probst cylinders, recently acquired.
- Three autoclaves of 9-12 and 25 metres length for the Bethel vacuum pressure system
- Diverse carpentry machinery
Our workforce, which has increased over the years, currently includes 50 employees in our factory, as well as a number of collaborating companies for the execution of assemblies outside our premises, which gives us a great capacity for the supply and execution of building work at any geographical point within Spain.
